Low Carb & Grain-Free Tortillas

These low-carb tortillas are made with almond, coconut and flax meal. They are soft, pliable and flavorful (even if you are not on a low-carb or gluten-free diet). My family loves them and I hope you will too. This recipe is full of healthy fats, fiber and protein!

The Trader Joe's Low Carb Tortillas have been around for a while, but there are many people who don't know about them. These tortillas have zero net carbs, and you can actually have three of them for the same amount of carbs that you would find in one La Tortilla Factory Low Carb Tortilla.

These tortillas are a nice option to have if you want to make some low carb tacos or Mexican food. They taste pretty good too, and they are very easy to work with as well. You can use these tortillas in all kinds of ways, and they will add very little carbs to whatever you put in them.

When it comes to Trader Joe's low-carb tortillas, there are many benefits. For one thing, they are made with all natural ingredients. They also contain a very healthy amount of fiber. In fact, these tortillas have twice as much fiber as regular tortillas do per serving.

Another benefit is that these tortillas are much lower in calories than other kinds of tortillas. A regular size tortilla has about 180 calories in it, but the Trader Joe's brand only has about 100 calories in it. These tortillas are so low in calories that you can eat them for breakfast and lunch without feeling guilty about it at all!

Last but not least, these low-carb tortillas taste great! They have a nice crunchy texture and the flavor is wonderful. I recommend that you try one of these tortillas if you're looking for an easy way to lose weight and improve your health at the same time!

There is one problem with Trader Joe's Carb Balance Tortillas. They are often out of stock. When I asked the store manager about this he said, “I get asked a lot about these. I don't know why they do not come in more often.” So what do you do when you run out of low carb tortillas?

Low Carb Tortilla Alternatives at Trader Joe's

Fortunately, there are a few other options available at Trader Joe's. These are not tortillas but they will work just fine if you need something to wrap around your favorite filling.

Here are your choices:

1) Organic Romaine Wraps

These are very tasty organic romaine leaves that have been cleaned and ready to use as a wrap. They may be a little tough so you can cut the middle rib out or cook them briefly in butter to soften them up. These have 1 gram of net carbs per wrap.

2) Organic Tuscan Kale Wraps

These wraps are made from big leaves of organic kale and are great for wrapping around fillings for a low carb burrito or sandwich wrap. These were my favorite alternative and have 2 grams of net carbs per wrap.

3) Organic Bro

With just two ingredients, Trader Joe's Cauliflower Tortillas are gluten-free, low carb and keto friendly. They're only 80 calories each, with 10g of net carbs and 3g of fiber. They're made from cauliflower and water, with a touch of salt. There's no wheat or dairy, and no preservatives or artificial colors.

They're made for TJ by a third party supplier in Los Angeles. The tortillas come 12 to a pack and cost $3.29 for the 8 inch size (sold at our store). The company also makes an extra-large 11 inch size that we don't carry at our store.
