heb low carb tortillas

21 February 2022

HEB's low carb tortillas are high in fiber, and low in net carbs. They're great for keto and simply anyone wanting to reduce their carb intake. The tortillas come in 3 flavors: original, spinach and wheat. They're all great but I prefer the original and wheat ones.

HEB Low Carb Tortillas are made from wheat flour and contain a high level of dietary fiber. The tortillas are low in carbohydrates, making them an ideal snack for people on diets that restrict consumption of foods with high carbohydrate content, such as the Atkins diet. There are several advantages to eating HEB Low Carb Tortillas, including the ability to consume high-fiber snacks without adding extra carbohydrates to the diet.

HEB Low Carb Tortillas, which were once known as Mission Low Carb Tortillas, are made from wheat flour and contain a high level of dietary fiber. The tortillas are low in carbohydrates, making them an ideal snack for people on diets that restrict consumption of foods with high carbohydrate content, such as the Atkins diet. HEB low carb tortillas are made with whole wheat flour, whole wheat flour and cornmeal. The result is a healthier alternative to the conventional tortilla, which is made from white flour, cornmeal, or both. With all the added fat and sugar in traditional Mexican food, this alternative is cheaper and healthier than traditional Mexican food.

To make HEB low carb tortillas you need one cup of milk, one egg yolk, one egg white, one tablespoon of butter or margarine, two tablespoons of sugar and a dash of salt. Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until it comes to a boil.

In a separate bowl mix together the egg yolk and egg white. Beat until the mixture is thickened and forms into a thick batter. Add the milk mixture to the egg mixture and stir until combined. Pour into an 8x8 square baking pan that has been greased well with butter or margarine. Bake at 350 degrees for about twenty-five minutes or until done.

The Good:

First off - let's start with the taste. They are delicious and will satisfy your carb cravings without putting you in a carb coma. They have a real flour tortilla taste. And they have a nice texture - not too soft, but not too firm either.

The Not-so-Good:

I wish they were gluten free! Especially since all of the other low carb tortillas that I know of are gluten free (like La Tortilla Factory , Mission, Ole Extreme Wellness and Mama Lupe). But these aren't. So if you're following a strict gluten free diet, you may want to avoid these tortillas. But if you're not on a gluten free diet, then don't let that keep you away from these delicious treats!
